A New Era in Smoking Has Arrived
by Dr. Walter Kazachuk, MD

In a perfect world, smokers would quit smoking and stop the harmful effects that lead to approximately half million deaths in the US annually. Instead, scientists have sought out options to minimize the effects of smoking. As a physician, I am excited to recommend a promising new product that eliminates the health dangers of smoking—electronic cigarettes. They are just like cigarettes, but without the dangerous chemicals. Electronic cigarettes and other electronic personal vaporizers (EPVs) have finally made smoking safe. I have seen great successes with patients who have switched to these electronic cigarettes, making me excited about the tremendous health benefits. Of course, this is not only my opinion. Scientific studies confirm that EPVs are a beneficial and healthy alternative to smoking traditional cigarettes.

Over the years, many patients have come to my office suffering from the long term effects of smoking cigarettes. Very often they would like to quit the habit, but find that quitting is easier said than done. I now recommend EPVs to my patients who are concerned about their health but cannot or do not want to give up the experience of smoking. Patients that switch to smoking EPVs often show enormous health improvements and a renewed sense of well-being. This is because, unlike traditional cigarettes, EPVs do not contain any cancer causing agents. They contain nicotine though (except for the nicotine-free ones) and provide the feeling of smoking a real cigarette. As a practicing physician, I know from personal experience with my patients that EPVs have the potential to revolutionize the health of smokers in the United States. I am therefore writing this report to encourage smokers to switch to electronic cigarettes.
Smoking cigarettes is a cultural as well as a physical addiction. Every day, we are exposed to images of movie stars smoking, cigarette marketing and the pressure to conform. As a physician, I aim to address both the physical and psychological aspects of smoking in order to help the patient. I have found that EPVs satisfy both of these needs and are extremely easy for people to work into their daily smoking routine, largely because the experience is hard to distinguish from that of smoking traditional tobacco cigarettes. Since electronic cigarettes look, taste and feel like a regular cigarette, smokers do not feel they are giving up smoking.

RiteSmoke Electronic Cigarettes Provide the Experience, Not the Dangerous Chemicals

I believe in rigorous testing and independent analyses of products, and will only prescribe and recommend products with good data behind their development. RiteSmoke has rigorously analyzed the research done and used those findings in developing the final product. I personally find RiteSmoke to be the best electronic cigarettes on the market since they are safe, effective, reliable and reasonably priced. RiteSmoke is not only safe with added health benefits, but is an extremely effective product that can improve a smoker’s health without the difficulty of giving up smoking.

The effectiveness of the RiteSmoke electronic cigarette is due to its simple and innovative design, which provides a healthy smoking experience. It is composed of three main parts: a battery, an atomizer, and a cartridge/mouthpiece. The atomizer contains a heating element that creates a vapor resembling smoke when air is drawn through the device.  The vapor itself comes from a harmless organic compound called propylene glycol (PG), which is found in many foods and cosmetic products. It is a faintly sweet, clear liquid that is FDA approved as a food additive.

Even though PG tastes similar to traditional cigarette smoke when it is vaporized, it does not contain the harmful chemicals and cancer-causing agents. This means that by using RiteSmoke, friends, family and co-workers are spared from the more than 4,000 chemicals found in traditional sidestream smoke (i.e. the smoke that comes from the smoldering end of a cigarette). This eliminates the dangers of secondhand smoke, improving air quality and eradicating one of the main causes of death from traditional cigarettes.

Currently the risks posed by secondhand smoke have become a major public health concern, leading to the creation of no-smoking laws. At least 23 states have enacted legislation prohibiting smoking in almost all public places and workplaces, including restaurants and bars. This has pushed smokers outdoors, away from the social activities they planned to enjoy, and has created a cultural divide between smokers and non-smokers. However, since RiteSmoke produces a vapor rather than secondhand smoke, RiteSmoke users are now able to smoke anytime, anywhere. There is no more need to go outside away from people in order to smoke.

In fact, rather than being harmful to your health like cigarette smoke, the vapor produced by RiteSmoke is actually healthy. New studies confirm that PG is not only safe but actually has health-promoting properties. A long-term study conducted with children suffering from viral infections suggests that PG actually inhibits the growth of viruses and that PG vapor helps to clear the sinuses and promote easy breathing. In other words, RiteSmoke not only makes smoking possible without the harmful chemicals in cigarettes, but provides additional health benefits such as combating the flu and clearing up sinus problems. RiteSmoke is a non-toxic product that is safe for use by my patients and their families.

Something For Everyone—RiteSmoke Offers a Variety of Options

Some of my new patients are surprised that I recommend RiteSmoke EPV as a healthy alternative to cigarettes, given that the product can contain as much nicotine as a traditional cigarette. What many people do not realize is that scientific studies confirm that nicotine, on its own, does not promote the development of cancer in healthy tissue. The real culprits behind the harmful effects of smoking cigarettes are the additives and other cancer-causing chemicals in cigarettes.

In addition, patients can actually choose the amount of nicotine in their RiteSmoke EPV, ranging from 5% (the same amount found in traditional cigarettes), down to no nicotine at all. This flexibility means that the patient can enjoy the physical and social aspects of smoking, but reduce their dependence on nicotine by gradually lowering the amount of nicotine in the EPV. Once the patient has beaten the physical addiction to nicotine, it is much easier to address the psychological aspects of smoking. The patient can also chose to continue using the EPV without any nicotine at all.

I therefore recommend RiteSmoke products not only because they provide the best in EPV technology, but also because they offer such a wide range of choices in their cartridges. Electronic cigarette users can not only choose their level of nicotine, giving them options based on their level of dependence and desire, but can even choose different flavors and fragrances for their cigarettes. RiteSmoke currently offers most traditional flavors, like menthol and name-brand tobacco, as well as apple, cherry, coffee and vanilla, with more choices being developed as the products increase in popularity. All of these can be purchased with varying levels of nicotine or with none. RiteSmoke is a company that understands what smokers really need in order to successfully kick the habit.

RiteSmoke can help all kinds of smokers. Some of my patients that use RiteSmoke cigarettes smoke to satisfy their nicotine addictions, while others are social smokers who enjoy an occasional cigarette. I also have patients who have given up smoking because of health concerns but really miss the experience and were glad to find RiteSmoke. All of these patients have benefited from electronic cigarettes. Whether the aim is to free them from the nicotine addiction or to enjoy the occasional cigarette without worrying about putting their health at risk or becoming addicted to nicotine again, RiteSmoke is the answer.

Much of the stress-relieving and relaxing properties of smoking come primarily from the physical action of breathing deeply. RiteSmoke EPVs allow people to benefit from this relaxing breathing action. The difference is that the person is breathing in a harmless, health-promoting vapor rather than toxic cigarette smoke. EPVs do not contain any cancer causing ingredients. A recent clinical study examined the release of carbon monoxide (CO)—an extremely poisonous gas produced when a cigarette is lit—in exhaled breaths before and after smoking a cigarette. The graph below shows a comparison between carbon monoxide released from a cigarette versus an EPV. The results show that an EPV does not change the amount of carbon monoxide that the person breathes in, but cigarettes increase the amount of CO breathed in and hence exhaled.

You are probably quite aware of the danger to your health that smoking traditional cigarettes poses. The strong links between cigarettes and cancer, as well as diseases of the respiratory system are well-documented in fifty years of scientific reports. Almost without exception, every smoker that comes to my office is aware of the dangers and would like to eliminate the health risks of smoking. When I tell them about RiteSmoke EPVs, they are initially skeptical and worried about the safety of the product. However, when they see the research reports showing that the cancer causing agents in cigarettes are not present in EPVs, they are willing to try the product. The ingredients in RiteSmoke products are not only safe and non-toxic, but actually have the potential to promote health through relaxation, stress-relief and the ability to breathe more easily.

A New Age in Smoking Has Arrived

I am pleased, but not altogether surprised to see the growing success of EPVs in the United States. They truly are a revolutionary product
from both a public and personal health perspective. EPVs have the potential to drastically reduce the amount of deaths caused each year from tobacco and create a healthier environment for both smokers and those around them. In my practice, EPVs have allowed my patients to improve their health while maintaining their normal social activities and routines. I have seen a significant reduction in smoking-related illnesses and very few of my patients return to traditional cigarettes after EPVs.

I firmly believe that EPVs like RiteSmoke are the next-generation of nicotine replacement therapy, giving patients the smoking experience they crave without negatively affecting their health and the health of others. EPVs are a solution to the problems associated with smoking that finally elevates the wants, needs and desires of the smoker to the same level as those of the non-smoker. Now smokers are no longer outcasts—they can smoke any and everywhere without bothering anyone! That is why I have great confidence that EPVs will finally allow smokers and non-smokers to peacefully coexist and will bring an end to the tobacco conflicts that have been ranging for more than four decades. Now that smoking can finally be healthy, there will be no health care costs associated with smoking and health insurance will be attainable and cheaper for smokers, unlike the current situation. There are so many benefits to electronic cigarettes and no downside. Try RiteSmoke and see the difference for yourself.
